Actually, we've had our own place and the net for about a month now, but I just can't seem to catch much of a break these days. A couple weeks ago, my mother had a massive heart attack, slipped into a coma and passed away. She was only fifty-seven and no one expected her to go this early. She wasn't always there for me (or my sister) when I was a kid, and we didn't always get along, but it hit me a lot harder than I could really imagine before. As a result, I've been busy dealing with funeral stuff, family stuff, estate stuff and just generally not feeling very interactive as of late.
Also, my laptop has finally died (it lasted for five or six years!), so until I get a new (hopefully in a month or so) I'm stuck with the more awkward (though much newer) desktop with a crappy video card (not great for photo editing). For some reason, it's a lot harder for me to write with a desktop computer now too.
But, anyway, I am back online and will try to be active again soon.
